Copan Looks for First Win on Thursday
We have one area football game a day earlier than usual this week.
Copan will host Foyil for its first home game on Thursday night. Both clubs are 0-2 so someone will be picking up its first win of the season.
According to head coach Marshall Foreman, the Hornets let turnovers and energy levels get the best of them during a 50-point loss to Welch a week ago.
Teegan Caron, a freshman, scored the Hornets only touchdown of the game.
Foyil lost to Barnsdall 44-0 last week, while Copan fell to the Panthers 60-14 during Zero Week action.
More on that Thursday night battle in Northern Washington County later on this week.
