Last night in day four action from the 25th annual Caney Valley Tournament we had two Washington County teams square off in consolation round action.

In what was expected to be a close game Copan routed Wesleyan Christian, 70-47. The Hornets played solid ball all around forcing several Mustang turnovers and capitalizing on the offensive end.

Senior guard Colton Reamhild had an outstanding game dropping a tournament-high 36 points. Reamhild knocked down five three-pointers in the effort and also scored several points attacking the basket.

Wesleyan Christian tried a comeback in the third quarter and they came out firing. Desmond Thompson had five three-pointer accounting for 15 of the 20 WCS points in the quarter. However, the comeback attempt would fall short as Copan ran away with things late.

Copan will play Chelsea for fifth place at 2:30 and WCS battles Foyil at 11:30.
