Dewey Hosts Chelsea in Conference Battle

 

The Bullodggers (14-4) will take on Chelsea (4-11) in a conference game on Tuesday evening. Dewey is playing out its final four regular season games before they host Cascia Hall in the 3A district playoffs on February 16.

The Doggers demolished Chelsea in their first meeting in early January, 76-38. Since that matchup Dewey has fallen just twice, including its last contest against Adair.

Dewey will try to regain its momentum heading into the playoffs. Head coach Lance Knight says it’s all about consistency.

Dewey has relied heavily on senior’s Caston Frye and Blayz Rippy to carry the scoring load down the stretch. Sophomores Colby Henley and Hayden Thornton have been great contributors on defense as well.

The Doggers and Dragons tipoff Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock. You can hear this game on KRIG 104.9 FM.
