Dewey Softball Sweeps on Opening Day

 

After a state tournament appearance last year, the Dewey Lady Bulldoggers softball team is off to a hot start. The Lady Doggers smacked the ball around as they earned two wins in their season opening doubleheader against Kansas High School, 9-3 and 18-4.

Savanna Moll hit three home runs during the doubleheader. Tristan Hinkle hit a grand slam as well. Briley Davis is off to a nice start pitching wise as she notched two victories on the day. Moll and Davis were both Northeast Valley All-Conference performers in 2019.

Dewey will play several games this weekend during the Beggs Festival starting on Friday.
