Dewey Travels To Berryhill

The Dewey Bulldoggers will hit the road and head south to Tulsa tomorrow night as they face their toughest test of the 2017 season. Dewey will be taking on a district opponent in Berryhill who is ranked No. 2 in the Oklahoma class 3A rankings.

The Bulldoggers need to regroup after last week’s 26-21 home loss Mannford, which dropped their record to 3-2 on the year. Senior tailback Faylon Kight was held under 100 yards for the first time all season last week. Dewey head coach Tyler Caid said some tweaks will be made in order to improve the running game.

The Chiefs handled Dewey with ease in a 50-22 win last season. History isn’t on the Doggers side in this matchup as they’ve lost eight in a row to Berryhill dating back to 2008.

Tomorrow’s night game can be heard on KRIG 104.9 FM with pregame coverage starting at 6:40 p.m.
