The Dewey Bulldoggers have a chance to defeat one of its major competitors in Thursday night battle on the road against Kiefer. The Doggers and Trojans currently hold the third and foruth spots in the 2A-3 standings.

Dewey needs to rebound from a 75-0 loss to Beggs. Head coach Trent Turner said that several key performers didn’t play very long in the contest. Dewey has the ability to work in several different styles offensively. Coach Turner says that flexibility will be key against the Trojans.

Senior Grant Johnson has been a steadying force on both sides of the ball for Dewey. Johnson has registered a handful of sacks from his outside linebacker spot and then anchored the offensive line at left tackle. Turner says Johnson is a critical part of this team.

Dewey head to Kiefer for a Thursday night special. Listen on KRIG 104.9 FM. Radio coverage begins at 6:30 p.m.
