Dewey senior Nathan Sloan officially inked his letter of intent to play college football at Northeast Oklahoma A&M in the fall.

Sloan's parents, Don and Kendra, as well as a group of his teammates gathered at the student center at Dewey High School to watch the signing.

Head coach Tyler Caid moved Sloan from left tackle to tight end after his junior year. Coach Caid says he saw a ton of athletic potential in Sloan.

Sloan played an integral role on the Doggers football team last season as a tight end and defensive end. His football future will be on the offensive side of the ball with Norsemen.

Sloan is excited to continue playing tight end at the next level.

NEO is one of the top junior college programs in the state with several players moving on to the Division I level. The Norsemen went 9-3 last season.

Congratulations to Nathan Sloan for continuing his athletic career.
