Doenges Ford Indians Set to Begin on Friday

 

Don’t forget that the start of American Legion baseball is just a few days away.

The Doenges Ford Indians will kick off their season on Friday at 6:00 PM in a double-header against Ada. One of the returners for the Indian’s is Corey Murphy.

Murphy, who will be a college sophomore in September, anchored Bartlesville’s starting rotation last year. He made 10 starts and 13 appearances, both of which led the team. Murphy struck out 88 batters in his 57.1 innings of work – an outstanding number.

KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3 will have coverage of the Indian’s again this summer, starting with both the double-headers on Friday and Saturday at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
