The new Lady Bruin basketball coach seems to be fitting right in.

Bartlesville High had a few more varsity coaching openings than usual this year, with baseball, girl's basketball, track and field and football all getting new coaches in 2018-2019.

Donnie Martin was hired to replace Krista Binam as head girls’ basketball coach at BHS back in May. Donnie, his wife Lori and daughter Chloe immediately came to Bartlesville and have been working this offseason. He has brought the Lady Bruins to come camps and had open gyms and workouts on campus. Bartlesville Athletic Director Ryan Huff says the early returns are great.

The Lady Bruins should again compete for a Frontier Valley Conference title in 2018-2019. BHS started the season 25-0 this past year.
