Eagle Baseball Travels to Southwestern

Oklahoma Wesleyan’s baseball team will be back in action earlier than expected as weather has forced this weekend three-game set with Southwestern to be moved up one day.

The fifth-ranked Eagles will play one game on Thursday followed by a doubleheader on Friday against the Moundbuilders.

After knocking off Northwestern Oklahoma State in midweek blowout the Eagles winning streak has now reached 11 games. The Eagles know expectations are high after last year’s NAIA World Series appearance and this year’s incredible start. OKWU head coach Matt Parker says his players have inherited a winning culture.

The Eagles currently sit atop the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference standings with a 20-4 record. However, Tabor and Friends trail OKWU by just one game with two weekend series remaining in conference play.

First pitch at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday from Winfield, Kansas.
