Eagle Soccer in NAIA Tourney Tuesday

 

the Eagle soccer team is in action in the NAIA Tournament tomorrow afternoon. The schedule has shifted a bit from when the bracket was originally released, Oklahoma Wesleyan was scheduled initially to play today.

OKWU will take on Corban, Oregon in the Sweet 16 of the national event. Wesleyan is 19-3 on the season. The Eagles swept through their first round match against Morningside, Iowa nearly 10 days ago, winning 5-2.

Oklahoma Wesleyan is coming off a Final Four appearance last year. OKWU has been ranked in the top-5 of the country all season long. Head coach Jamie Peterson says the formula for the national tournament doesn’t really change, he wants more of the same from 2017.

The Sweet-16 on forward in the NAIA Tourney takes place in Irvine, California.
