Oklahoma Wesleyan makes a short trip north to Winfield, Kansas on Saturday for a doubleheader with Southwestern College. Both team’s find themselves tied for second place with five regular season games remaining.

The winner of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament. An auto bid is also out there for the conference tournament championship. Both Eagles teams are lined up to host conference quarterfinals and potentially semifinals before the tournament championship in Wichita.

The sixth-ranked Moundbuilders’ men’s team has led the conference wire-to-wire, but they’ve recently lost consecutive games for the first time all season. OKWU head coach Donnie Bostwick takes a look at the opponent.

The Eagles fell to Southwestern in the first matchup earlier in the season, 78-71.

On the Women’s side the matchup is critical as well. The Lady Eagles won in the first meeting, 62-45.

OKWU regained some momentum with a win over Ottawa on Wednesday after dropping two games in a row.

You can hear both games on 1500 AM KPGM--99.1 FM starting at 1 o’clock.
