A former Bartlesville baseball standout made his debut at the collegiate level last week. Harald Borg, a former Bruin and Doenges Ford Indians player debuted for St. Olaf College, an NCAA Division III school in Northfield, Minnesota.

Borg made his first start and tallied a double in a game against Northwestern Minnesota. The game was played indoors at U.S. Bank Stadium, the home of the Minnesota Vikings. Because of adverse weather in the area games are played at this indoor site around the clock. Borg started the game at catcher.

Borg hit .336 with 13 RBIs in his senior season for BHS. He played for the Indians in the summer of 2018. Borg spent time as a pitcher, middle infielder and catcher during his Bartlesville baseball career. Borg’s next collegiate game is slated for March 21.
