The Phillips 66 Aquatic Center is getting set for a big-time event on Monday evening.

The Oklahoma Coach’s Association All-State Swimming event will take place in downtown Bartlesville tonight. The OCA switched the venue for the competition recently. It was originally scheduled to take place in Jenks. Bartlesville, of course, is an appropriate venue. The Lady Bruins have three swimmers taking the pool.

Kate Seward, Greta Olsen and Emily Giovannetti will have one final go-around in their home pool. All three are NCAA Division-I bound once college starts in a few weeks. Both Seward and Olsen are headed to Lawrence, Kansas to swim at the University of Kansas. Giovannetti is going to Drexel. Bartlesville High athletic director Spence Rigdon talks about hosting the event.

BHS girls swimming has won four state titles in a row in Class 6A. Tickets are $5.

Also on Monday in the All-State Games, former Lady Bruin golfer Faith Hopkins will appear in the golf competition, which is taking place at Cherokee Hills Golf Club in Catoosa.

Hopkins won the individual 6A State Title this past spring at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville.

She is headed to Oklahoma State in the fall to continue her career.
