Four Lady Eagles Make President's List

 

Oklahoma Wesleyan University released its President’s List this week to honor students who earned a 4.0 GPA. Several names made the list including four Lady Eagle’s basketball players. Melanie Williams, Brittan Garrett, Sarah Davis and Ashley Cook each notched the perfect grade point average. This is particularly impressive for those who practice long hours and then study afterward. Often time study sessions take place on the bus to and from games.

OKWU had an upstart season on the court going 16-15 with a young roster. The Lady Eagles also tabbed an impressive win in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament over No. 1 seed Kansas Wesleyan.
