Harry Wright and Nate Neal Preview Cville

 

Bartlesville head football coach Harry Wright met with KWON on Wednesday night for his weekly radio show.

The program airs from 6-7 from Dink’s Pit BBQ every Wednesday evening.

BHS is trying to pull an upset against Collinsville on Friday night. The 2-0 Cardinals are the defending 5A state champs. They have not lost a regular season game since 2019. It has been 642 days since the last time they lost, deep in the 2020 playoffs.

The Bruins offense sputtered a bit in the first half in a 27-21 loss at Sapulpa this past Friday. It started to heat up again during the second half, mostly on the back of running back PJ Wallace.

Wright says everyone has to do a better job of feeling the pace of the game in the early going.

A 6:30 pregame with a 7:00 kick on Friday night from Custer Stadium. We will have our pregame tailgate on the south side of the stadium, as well just after 5:00 PM.
