Health Key to Pawhuska's Success

We are only two days away from Pawhuska taking the field in the Class A football playoffs third round.

This is the latest in the week the Huskies have made it without their game getting canceled.  A week ago Tuesday Hominy bowed out of the second round because of COVID-19 concerns, and Pawhuska automatically advanced to the next round.

Pawhuska’s success in 2020 can be attributed to many things, but health has been a key.

The Huskies have made it through 10 regular season games with no major injuries and no COVID-19 flare ups.

Head coach Matt Hennesy says that an increased focus on getting stronger has aided his team this fall.

Pawhuska hosts Warner for its first playoff game of the season this Friday.

A 7:00 kick on 99.1 FM – KPGM and you can stream the game for free on KPGMTV.com.

There will be no attendance restrictions for the crowd at Ormond Beach Stadium, and masks will be encouraged.
