High School Football Scoreboard - Week 10

 

Week No. 10 of high school football saw some teams finish out their seasons, and saw others prepare for the first round of the playoffs. Here are the recaps and playoff matchups for all the area teams heading into the postseason:

Bartlesville 42, Shawnee 14

Nowata 41, Wyandotte 26

* The Ironmen clench their first playoff bid since 2016, Nowata will now face Beggs in the first round of the 2A postsesaon - after Beggs lost to Sperry on Friday night 33-15. We will broadcast that Ironmen postseason game on KRIG 104.9 FM. 

Dewey 40, Morris 22 

* Dewey wins 7 regular season games for the first time since 1994 – Doggers have a rematch against Adair in round one of the playoffs next weekend on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. Dewey fell to Adair 32-14 back on Aug. 30 to begin the regular season. 

Pawhuska 40, Pawnee 46

* Pawhuska drops first game of the season, and falls to the No. 2 seed in Class A District 5. The Huskies will host area foe Oklahoma Union in round one of the postseason on 99.1 FM - KPGM next week. Pawhuska topped OKU 60-18 on Sept. 6 in a non-district battle. 

Owasso 49, Putnam City North 14

* Rams will take on Norman in first round of 6A-1 playoffs on Friday on 100.1 – KYFM.

Caney Valley 14, Victory Christian 56

Oklahoma Union 46, Fairland 8

* OKU will face Pawhuska after the Huskies loss to Pawnee. Cougars go 7-3 and get the No. 3 seed out of 2A District 6. The Cougars game at Pawhuska will air on 99.1 FM - KPGM on Friday night. This was a game Oklahoma Union lost on Sept. 6, 60-18

Wesleyan Christian 46, Olive 0

South Coffeyville / Copan 0, Oaks 48

Oologah 64, Catoosa 27

Skiatook 54, East Central 14

Collinsville 47, Will Rogers 0
