High School Sports Nearly Underway

 

High school athletics practices are just days away across the state of Oklahoma.  

Practice can begin in volleyball, softball and cross country on Saturday.

Football will have to wait until August 7.

The OSSAA allows such an early start date for those three sports because many clubs may begin games in early August. KWON talked to Bartlesville High volleyball coach Tom Williams and softball coach Craig Hampton earlier this week and both said they would wait another week or two to begin their team’s practices despite the early start date.
