A former Lady Bruin golfer has found a new home in the NCAA Division I ranks.

Faith Hopkins has transferred from Oklahoma State to Missouri State.

The Lady Bears' head golf coach, Kevin Kane, made the announcement on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkins had just wrapped up her sophomore season in Stillwater this month. She played in four tournaments as a freshman and had played sparingly as a sophomore before the Cowgirls' season was cut short in 2020 due to the coronavirus.

Hopkins was a standout at Bartlesville High, winning the 2018 6A individual state title on her home golf course of Hillcrest Country Club to round out her career.

She was a four-time state qualifier as a Lady Bruin.

Hopkins steps in to a Missouri State program that has had success as of late. MSU won the 2017 and 2018 Missouri Valley Conference championships in women’s golf.
