Just one area team remains in the rankings after the conclusion of week four action in high school football. Pawhuska’s 60-12 beatdown of rival-Barnsdall has bounced the Panthers from the Class A top 10 rankings according to the Tulsa World.

The Huskies moved up one spot to No. 4. Right now only Cashion, Rejoice Christian and Stroud are ahead of Pawhuska. All of three of those teams have yet to suffer a loss. At 5-0, Pawhuska has clinched its second consecutive season with at least a .500 record. This is particularly spectacular after seeing the Huskies go winless in the 2017 season.

The Huskies Quarterback is also running away with the state leaderboards. Bryce Drummond tallied six touchdowns in the win over Barnsdall to give him 27 total scores on the season. According to unofficial stats, no other player in Oklahoma at any classification has more touchdowns.

Pawhuska plays one of its three true road games on Friday against Tonkawa. More on the Huskies later in the week.
