Huskies Look to Advance to Regional Championship

 

The Pawhuska Huskies and Lady Huskies are taking the court Thursday evening looking to get a victory and advance to the regional championship game on Saturday.

The boys come into the contest with a 13-3 record and are playing a Colcord team that most recently defeated Fairland. Colcord sits at 9-9 on the season and come in riding a four game winning streak. They also beat 19th ranked Caney Valley Ramona.

The Lady Huskies are facing the 20th ranked Fairland Lady Owls. Despite this top 20 ranking, Fairland has yet to face a ranked team and they are currently 14-4. Fairland is currently on a three game win streak.

Thursday night’s games can be heard on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and KPGMTV.com. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
