The Doenges Ford Indian’s had a rough weekend in Enid, as Bartlesville’s summer baseball team is still searching for win number one entering its third week of play.

The Indian’s lost three straight games to Ada (18-10), Enid (8-0) and Three Rivers (12-0) during games on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Early on, pitching has been an issue for Bartlesville, especially out of the bullpen. The Indian’s gave up 38 runs over the three losses this past weekend.

Bartlesville was no hit during the late game against Enid on Saturday, and then managed only one hit Sunday morning against Three Rivers.

Bartlesville should have a chance to pick up its first win of the year on Tuesday, however, weather pending, As Shawnee comes to Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for the Indian’s home opener.

Bartlesville nearly beat Shawnee during its season opener two weeks ago in Muskogee, but eventually lost 3-2.

First pitch at 6:00 PM for the double-header that will air on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
