Indians Head to Checotah for Regular Season Finale

 

The Doenges Ford Indians return to the diamond on Saturday with two games in Checotah. These will be Bartlesville’s final two regular season games this summer.

The Indians are just 2-4 since taking home the championship in the Glen Winget tournament at the beginning of July. This will be an opportunity for the team to return to its winning ways before the state tournament that will run July 26-29 in Madill, Oklahoma.

Even with recent struggles the Indians still sit at 20-14 on the season. The offense has been a bit sluggish lately, but the team is still holds a collective batting average of .319 with seven regular starters eclipsing .300.

Saturday’s games will be played at Checotah High School with an 11:00 AM first pitch in game one on KPGM – Game two at 4:00 PM on KWON- AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
