Indians Pitchers Set to Play JuCo Ball

A local baseball star has committed to play at the next level. Caney Valley’s Haden Fiddler announced that he is slated to attend Northeast Oklahoma A&M to play baseball. Fiddler has also pitched multiple summer seasons for the Doenges Ford Indians. His school and summer teammate Daniel Barham is also set to play junior college ball at Coffeyville.

Ever since John Pannell took over the Indians program ahead of the 2020 summer he has made it goal to place interested players at the college level. These two players as well as others serve as evidence that the process is working.

Both Fiddler and Barham are set to play for the Indians this upcoming summer season. fiddler credits his high school coach Andrew Fox for making connections at NEO.

The pair make up a strong contingent of local players that have notched multiple seasons for the club. Bartlesville is set to open its season Friday evening with a doubleheader against the Ada Braves.
