Indians Return Home Wednesday
The Doenges Ford Indians return home on Wednesday for a doubleheader against Three Rivers. This will be just the second home date that Bartlesville’s American Legion summer baseball team has played all season. Bartlesville owns a 1-13-1 record on the season.
The Indians lost both ends of a doubleheader to Shawnee on June 4 in their home opener. Since then, Bartlesville traveled for its annual tournament to Branson, Missouri and played a four-game road stretch in Salisaw and Catoosa.
Bartlesville played the Bandits a week ago and it was swept in a doubleheader, losing both games by run rule. The Indians also lost to Three Rivers 12-0 in game played in Enid on June 1. Bartlesville has not played since then as a doubleheader slated for Saturday was rained out.
You can listen to the games on KWON AM 1400—FM 93.3. Action begins from Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m.
