Indian's Washed Out on Sunday - Go 2-2 in Ada

The Doenges Ford Indians split four games in the Ada area over the weekend, with their final two games getting rained out on Sunday.

Bartlesville split its only two games it played against the Ada Braves on Saturday. The Indians topped Ada 4-3 in game one, but lost 6-0 in six innings in game two. The second game on Saturday was called because of darkness – East Central University’s baseball field, where the games were played, do not have lights.

Bartlesville had six hits on the day, with three of them coming from former KWON Intern John Cone. Cone also had a bases clearing three-RBI triple in the 4-3 Indian’s victory.

East Central also had some trouble with rain. Ada got about 15 minutes’ worth of rain on Sunday afternoon, but that was enough to nix the scheduled 1:00 PM double-header.

The Indian’s are now 20-14 on the summer. Bartlesville is not currently scheduled to be in action again until Saturday, when it’s scheduled to be in a four-way tournament.

If the Indian’s add another game this week, we will let you know right here.
