Indian's Win Third Straight

2018 has been a bit of a roller coaster for the Doenges Ford Indians, but Bartlesville appears to be on an upswing.

The Indians topped the host club of this past weekend's fourway tournament, Chanute, 11-5 on Sunday afternoon. The win capped a 3-1 trip to Chanute, Kansas.

The win wasn't always assured. Bartlesville scored seven runs in the top of the seventh, after trailing 5-4 entering the frame. This 2-RBI double from John Cone gave B'Ville the lead.

Randsom Jones again shined on the mound, picking up his second win of the summer. He pitched in relief for the Indian's after Zach Snow was lifted as the starter. Jones struck out seven in his three innings of work. Noah Yearout gave up one run on one hit to close the game.

Bartlesville (10-6) faces another busy week, as the Indians will host Three Rivers for a double-header on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.

INDIANS SCHEDULE

The Indian's also travel to Enid for four games on Friday-Sunday.
