Ironmen Qualify for 2A State Golf Tournament

 

The Nowata Ironmen boy’s golf team is headed to state. The Ironmen finished second at the 2A regionals at the Arrowhead State Park Golf Course in Canadian.

The team shot an overall 676 in the two round competition. The Ironmen finished just nine shots behind Tishomingo. Maddox Bullen posted scores of 81 and 73 to top the charts for the Ironmen. Spencer Bullen posted and 86 followed by a 76.

Cole Atkisson, Mark Price and Luis Covarrubius will also participate for in state for Nowata. The Ironmen will compete in the 2A State Tournament at the Earlywine Golf Course in Oklahoma City.

On the girl’s side, Lizzie Woolman will compete in the 2A State Tournament at Cimarron Golf Club in Guthrie. Woolman will tee off Wednesday at 9:16 a.m.
