Lady Bruins Face Test vs. BA

 

Bartlesville volleyball will have a tough test on the road at Broken Arrow on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Bruins turnaround in the 2019 season has been stark under first year head coach Jenn Ward. Bartlesville has won nine of its last 16 matches dating back in the last week of August.

BHS appears to be peaking at the exact right time with the postseason coming in less than two weeks. Ward says it took a bit longer than her team thought, but they are where they need to be going into the postseason.

The main different between the Lady Bruins in August and the Lady Bruins in September has been teamwork. Ward says that putting all the skills her bunch had together took time, but they started figuring it out the past few weeks.

BA is the No. 2 ranked team in Oklahoma, and will provide BHS a good measuring stick of where it stands against the best in the region. Bartlesville will have only four dates remaining after Tuesday, with senior night coming up on Thursday.
