Lady Bruins Win Again in Carthage

 

It is a two-game winning streak for the Bartlesville girls’ basketball team, as the Lady Bruins have a couple convincing wins in the Carthage, Missouri Tournament.

Thursday night it was a 65-46 victory over Springfield Hillcrest.

Once again scoring depth was a key to the win. Nine different Lady Bruins scored on the night, but it was still Chloe Martin leading the way. Martin had 23 points and was the only Bartlesville girl in double-figures.

She hit three three-pointers on the night, including this one in the second quarter that helped expand BHS’s lead.

Bartlesville shot the ball well early, making four first quarter threes, BHS would lead by 11 at that point, and would never look back.

The Lady Bruins will wrap up their play in Carthage on Friday afternoon at 5:30 against Mt. Vernon.
