New Look Eagles Ready for 2019-20 Season

 

A new basketball season is rapidly for the Oklahoma Wesleyan Men’s team. The Eagles will welcome in a new slate of players after graduating eight seniors off last year’s 30-win conference championship club. Head coach Donnie Bostwick says there are more questions heading in to this season but he already has a couple of answers.

Senior Lance Tipton and Sophomore Brooks Haddock each averaged in double figures last season. The Eagles will head on the road to play three scrimmages. The first on Wednesday, against John Brown University, Bostwick’s alma mater. Then the Eagles will head to Texas on the weekend to play two junior colleges. Bostwick says he is still tinkering with a few rotation spots.

OKWU opens up the season with a home game against Calvary College on October 26. You can listen to OKWU men’s and women’s basketball all season long on Sportstalk 1500 AM—99.1 FM KPGM.
