No. 1 Pawhuska Cruises to 4-0

 

No. 1 Pawhuska rolled to 4-0 on the year with 48-14 win in their district opener against Commerce. Bryce Drummond continued his phenomenal senior campaign with seven touchdowns and 368 yards on the night. Drummond would come out firing on the opening drive as he would connect with Dalton Hurd for the score.

The Huskies would quickly recover a fumble and score to make it 12-0. The Tigers would get on the board after that to make things interesting but Pawhuska would run with it from there. Mason Gilkey would have to 50+ yard touchdown receptions from Drummond in the second quarter. The Huskies would pull away making it 28-7 at halftime.

Hurd would end with three touchdowns in the second half. The Huskies defense would remain strong and they would get the win.

Pawhuska’s schedule gets a bit lighter from here. The Dawgs will take on Fairland at home next week.
