Had the final day of Classes 2A-4A Districts across the state on Tuesday evening.

Oklahoma Union took its first step toward a long-run in the postseason, as the Cougars crushed Ketchum in its own District, 68-40.

Game was not quite as lopsided as the score might indicate, but Oklahoma Union did lead wire-to-wire. The Cougars got three first-quarter threes from Kade Hollingshed to get started off hot.

The Cougars would get up by as many as 19 before Ketchum made things interesting. The Warriors got the lead down to nine before a quick OKU run put them away in the fourth quarter.

Cougars improve to 19-1, they will next host Caney Valley in round one of the 2A Regionals at Oklahoma Union on Thursday night at 8:00.

On the girl’s side, the Lady Cougars beat Ketchum 59-50, they will host Chelsea on Thursday evening at 6:00.
