OKWU Baseball Pushed Back

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball has had a schedule change for its home series against York, Nebraska this weekend.

The Eagles will host York on Saturday and Sunday, rather than beginning the series on Friday, thanks to the forecasted rain in the area for Friday.

OKWU will have York for a single game on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the Eagle practice field off Silver Lake. The Eagles will then play a double-header at Doenges on Sunday afternoon at 2:00.

Wesleyan is 23-6 after a loss to Oklahoma City University earlier this week. York is 11-4 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play, good for third place. Eagle head coach Kirk Kelley previews the weekend series with the Panthers.

We will have more on that weekend series against York, Nebraska as it begins on Saturday.
