OKWU Baseball Takes 2 of 3 From Friends

The Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball team won two out of three games against Friends on Saturday and Sunday.

Games were moved back a day due to Friday’s rains. OKWU split two games against the Falcons on Sunday in a double-header. Eagles took game one 10-2, but fell to Friends in game two, 5-2.

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball still no. 3 in the country and is 41-9 on the season.

OKWU is next at Bacone for a non-conference game on Tuesday night, then the Eagles wrap up the regular season at Kansas Wesleyan this coming weekend.

Regional sites are announced by the NAIA on May 1 – OKWU did apply to be a host in the national tournament.
