OKWU Hires New Sports Information Director
Oklahoma Wesleyan University’s athletic program made a major announcement earlier this week. Former softball star Tahlor Stefek will be taking over as the school’s Sports Information Director. Former Wesleyan Christian boys’ basketball coach Kameron Nettleton held the role for just one year.
Stefek was a 2nd-team All-American in the NAIA as two-way player on the softball field. She was an excellent left-handed pitcher and outfielder during her time at OKWU.
Stefek is a native of Somerset, Texas. She had previously played softball at Texas Wesleyan before transferring to OWKU. Stefek will officially begin her new role a SID on August 1. She is in the process of earning her Masters of Business Administration in Marketing degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan's graduate and professional studies program.
