Oklahoma Wesleyan’s men’s basketball team faces its first major test on Tuesday as John Brown University come to the Mueller Sports Center. The Eagles handled Calvary University easily on Friday night, winning 96-33.

JBU will be a nice measuring stick to how a veteran OKWU team stacks up early in the season. John Brown is also head coach Donnie Bostwick’s alma mater. Bostwick gives a scouting report of Tuesday night’s opponent.

The Eagles will also play JBU on the road on November 13 ahead of the start of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference season. The Oklahoma Wesleyan defense really shined in the opener as it grabbed 21 steals. Bostwick likes the defensive ability of this group more than OKWU teams in previous years.

Tuesday night’s game will be on the radio on KWON AM 1400--FM 93.3--FM 95.1. Coverage starts at 6:45 p.m.
