The Oklahoma Wesleyan women lost, but the men won, as the first two rounds of the NAIA national soccer tournament wrapped up over the weekend.

The Lady Eagles had their 14-game win-streak snapped at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Saturday, 3-2. OKWU ends the season at 19-4.

Meanwhile, the Eagle men won their own regional, pounding Morningside, Iowa 6-1. The Eagles were forced to host their event at Roger’s State University in Claremore because of wet conditions at the OKWU soccer pitch off Silver Lake.

Wesleyan will now advance to the Sweet 16 of NAIA soccer in Irvine, California.

The Eagles will face Madonna, Michigan on Dec. 2.
