OKWU Soccer Starts Conference Play

Oklahoma Wesleyan soccer is back in action on Tuesday after a long time off, as the Eagles will begin conference play if the weather holds up.

OKWU is slated to host Bethany at its soccer pitch of Silver Lake. It has been an uneven start to the 2019 season for head coach Jamie Peterson and his club. Wesleyan is 2-2. The team has not played since Sept. 13 when it lost to Columbia, Missouri.

Tuesday will be a  women and men’s double-header. Bethany should be one of the staunchest foes for the men in conference play, as the Swedes were picked toward the top of the KCAC and stand at 3-3 on the season.

Women kick at 6:00 with the men at 8:00. The Eagles have played only four games thus far since the season began on August 22.
