The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s team needed a last minute game-winner to beat Kansas Wesleyan for the second time in the last month. This time it was Kaleb Stokes knocking down a three-pointer with 26 seconds left to lift the Eagles to an eventual 64-63 win. OKWU advances to the semifinals of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament with the win.

The Eagles struggled mightily on the offensive end all game long. Stokes’ three to win the game was one of just five made by OKWU on the night.

Stokes had 17 points to lead the team. The Eagles showed rust having not played a game since February 13. The game was tied at 24 at halftime but Kansas Wesleyan led the entire second half until the final minute. The Coyotes led by as many as 11 points with seven minutes left. OKWU head coach Donnie Bostwick on the win.

This is the seventh consecutive win for the Eagles. OKWU moves to 18-5 on the season. The Eagles will play Ottawa in the KCAC semifinals on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Mueller Sports Center.
