OU Lands Top Wide Receiver Commit

The University of Oklahoma received a commitment from a big time wide receiver prospect on Friday. Four-star recruit Mario Williams from Plant City, Florida announced his intentions to play for the Sooners. Some recruiting outlets even have Williams listed as a five-star prospect.

Several former Sooners have ranked similarly as recruits including Sterling Shephard, Kenny Stills and CeeDee Lamb who all went onto to play in the National Football League after their time in Norman. Four NFL players have come out Plant City High School Previously.

Williams has 33 career touchdowns entering his senior season. He is considered one of the top high school pass catchers in the nation.
