The BHS Baseball team won in dramatic fashion over Skiatook on Thursday evening, 3-2. William Parsley had a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Bruins entered the inning trailing 2-0 but came from behind to earn the team’s second victory of the spring.

Preston Berg, Eric Olenberger and Rocky Shuman all came across to score after reaching base in final frame. Fittingly, Parsley was the top offensive performer for Bartlesville with two hits out of the No. 3 spot in the order. Bradee Rigdon also had a hit and a walk.

Parsley’s contributions continued on the mound as he worked around two unearned runs allowed in the sixth inning for a complete game victory. He allowed two hits and tallied three strikeouts. Parsley didn’t allow Skiatook to get a hit until the fifth inning.

The Bruins are 2-5 on the season. BHS will host Claremore-Sequoyah at 4:30 p.m. on Friday from Rigdon Field at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
