Pawhuska finally beat Cashion, as the Huskies enacted some revenge from the past two semifinal contests with a capital R against their former Class A foe.

Huskies turned it on late for a 40-29 win.

It didn’t look great early. Pawhuska trailed 13-0 before scoring 40 of the final 56 points in the final three quarters. A Todd Drummond quarterback keeper got the Huskies on the board, and it was downhill from there.

Drummond scored on the second-straight drive and Pawhuska was on a roll.

Tryrel Richardson would score right before half to give the Huskies the lead for good.

A 21-point lead was briefly whittled to five-points, but the ground game churned up clock and allowed Pawhuska to drain the clock out.

Pawhuska is 2-0 on the year, and will have revenge on its mind next week, as well.

As the Huskies host Hominy in the Battle of The Osage. The Bucks beat Pawhuska in the regular season matchup a year ago.
