Pawhuska vs. Woodland

 

The Pawhuska Huskies are taking on another Osage County foe this week in the Woodland Cougars in Fairfax.

Pawhuska fell short against Hominy in the Battle of the Osage last week.

The Huskies were able to move the ball but struggled to finishing drives last week. Huskies Head Coach Matt Hennesy talked about what hurt their comeback chances last week.  

Woodland is 1-1 on the year after a 31-30 loss to Newkirk in their last game. The Cougar offense is averaging 40.5 points per game. Meanwhile, Pawhuska has been able to put up points, they have struggled to score in the first quarter each of the last two games.

This will be the last non-district game for Pawhuska before district play resumes. Coach Hennesy explains why he scheduled the nonconference the way he did.
