PGA Field in Tulsa Set

 

The PGA Championship is coming to Green Country in a little more than a week, and there will be some notable names on the list to participate.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are officially in the field. Woods will be in his second event since playing in the Masters in April after a 17-month layoff due to injuries suffered in a car crash.

Meanwhile Mickelson will play for the first time since February.

As far as local ties, former OU Sooner Abraham Ancer along with former Oklahoma State golfers: Rickie Fowler, Viktor Hovland, Matthew Wolff and Talor Gooch will be in the field.

Southern Hills plays host to the event, which officially kicks off on May 19.
