Ponca Coming for ConocoPhillips Bowl

It is a three-game sprint to the end of the 2018 football season for Bartlesville High, and the Bruins have a shot to get back on track against an old rival on Thursday night.

Bartlesville High will end the season with two of its final three games being played at home. The Bruins have Ponca City into Custer Stadium for a battle for the ConocoPhillips Bowl on Thursday night.

BHS is coming off a loss to Bixby this past Friday, and has some work to do to get into the postseason. Three wins in its final three games would most likely assure Bartlesville a playoff spot, and the next three contests may be the most winnable ones on the schedule.

We will have a preview of the Bruins and Wildcats, along with a recap of last week’s game on Wednesday night during the Bartlesville High Coaches Show.

We will chat with Bruin head coach Lee Blankenship from 6-7 from Hideaway Pizza in downtown Bartlesville. That airs live on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.

Play-by-play broadcast of the game on Thursday will also air on KWON – with a 6:30 PM pregame and a 7:00 kick.
