Bartlesville’s adult amateur soccer team is starting to turn a corner at the right time.

Reign FK has won a couple games in a row entering another home date this weekend. Reign is coming off back-to-back wins against the top two teams in its division this past weekend.

Reign beat Irving FC at home this past Saturday 3-1, then turned around and drove to the Lonestar state and topped the Texas Spurs 2-0 on Sunday.

Reign is now 3-1 in its last four and has surged to fifth place in its seven-team division in the United States Premier Soccer League.

Reign FK is owned and operated by current Bartian and former Bartlesville High Bruin Matt Mason, who is a player-coach for the club, too. The team plays its games at Custer Stadium and operates in the USPL, which is the largest amateur soccer league in America.

Other teams from Bartlesville’s division include clubs from Denton, Oklahoma City, Dallas, and other areas.

Reign has another home game on Saturday evening – a 7:00 kick off against Innocentes FC, which is a team out of Fort Worth. Riegn would have to finish in the top four of its division in other to qualify for the postseason. The divison standings are determined by point differential, Reign is only three goals back of fourth.

There are only four games left on the team’s schedule – Saturday night’s home event is the second-to-last game at Custer Stadium this season.
