The Bruins baseball team notched another win on Friday evening. Bartlesville topped Claremore-Seqouyah 8-0 in a five inning run-rule shortened contest. BHS is now 3-5 after winning games against lower classification squads in back-to-back days.

Bradee Ridgon threw a one-hit shutout on the mound for BHS. Ridgon struck out seven and walked just two in a dazzling performance. Bartlesville has used just two pitchers in the last two days after William Parsley registered a complete game victory on Wednesday against Skiatook.

Parsley had another great day at the plate with two more hits. Braeden Winters knocked home three runs on two base hits. Harrison Clark plated two runs on the day as well. The Bruins scored six runs in the fourth inning to blow the game open.

BHS has announced that its annual spring break trip to Florida will not go on amid concerns about the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Bartlesville will next play against Sand Springs on March 23.
