Schedule for 1st Weekend of Indian's Baseball
The Doenges Ford Indians set their roster earlier this week, and now we have the schedule for their first weekend of games.
The Indians will play in a four-way tournament on Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3 at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
Bartlesville will host Three-Rivers, Ardmore and Ada for the weekend to kick off the season. The Indians will take on Three Rivers at 11:00 AM on Saturday, then play Ardmore at 6:30 PM that evening.
Bartlesville then plays at 1:30 PM on Sunday afternoon against Ardmore again, before wrapping up the tournament against Ada at 6:30 on Sunday evening.
The four-games in two day starts the grind that is summer baseball for the area players, who will play nearly 50 games by the time late July hits. Indian’s manager Anthony Towers talks about the difference between spring ball and summer ball
We will broadcast Indian’s games on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3 all summer long.
